Of course Hendrik fought the chains that so rigorously bound him so all he could do was basically stumble behind and catch himself before he fell.

As ever, the taller knight wondered what Jasper could possibly mean by paradise as bound as he was. The oath he swore with the blonde knight as a boy burned through his mind. Maybe the other only meant to keep it as long as he wasn't the man he had now turned into.
And so he remained silent even if his anger was attempting to get the best of him.
