Robin speaks, and keeps going, and Cheryl laughs, almost gently, for her.

"Betty did say your friends said to warn me you could ramble," she says as she takes a seat opposite her in the booth, and removes her sun glasses completely. "That checks out."

It's not unkind, despite how she can be, sometimes.

"There's nothing unfortunate about being named after the bird. Robins are lovely," Cheryl assures her with a far more serious tone.
