[ Waver glances over at Nida as they walk, forgetting his prior annoyance and offering a pleased grin. ]
Oh, right! So you shouldn’t have trouble with entering the tower, especially with me, but technically only approved students and staff are allowed to explore certain areas without like… Written permission and recommendation from someone that works there. That said, there are certain loopholes that exist that we can exploit.
[ And Waver is not above exploiting loopholes, not now and not ever. Sometimes you have to work with what you’ve got! ]
Students are allowed to bring someone along as an ‘apprentice’ of sorts. Someone who isn’t necessarily a mage, but knows about magic and might have the capabilities. [ Students with way more potential than Waver, and with more influence… But that’s not important! ] Generally the thought behind it is that person is going to attend lectures and study with the intent of enrolling if the Tower approves, but not everyone does. So if anyone stops and asks, you tell them you’re here at my recommendation because you’re thinking of enrolling but haven’t decided yet.
As long as we don’t bump into my classmates or someone who actually knows me, it shouldn’t be questioned. The school is big enough that the chances are pretty slim, especially on the weekend, so we only really have to be sneaky if I see someone familiar nearby.
