But fuck. Billy actually looks a little sick to hear about a mother abandoning a child. Hit too close to home. Far too close.
"Sounds like she wasn't good enough for you or your daughter," Billy says, because he's not okay with Steve cutting himself down. Billy knows just how protective of brats Steve was. Had heard enough, even after the fight. So it's clearly on the mother in this one.
