"Don't leave me waiting," he says with a shrug. But he leaves the guy to leave and heads to the diner. Once he's there he is content to order a coffee. Good thing he's brought a sketchbook out of the car too, to start some wind down drawing while he was at it.
Because he's got to pass the time and Hawkins makes him tense. Stupidly tense.
