The trip would have taken him less time if he hadn't been fussing over his clothes(Steve it's just coffee with Billy Hargrove, what's the deal?) on top of making sure Robin was cool to stay a little longer. He had no idea how long they'd be talking for or if things would just fizzle out. A short conversation wasn't much to go off of after all.
