"A first, I'm surprised Carol hasn't been spreading the word all over town." Steve laughed around his bite of cookie, picking up a pen he was using and glancing over some homework he was grading.

"Fair enough, guess I'll just have to be on guard. But you had fun?" He tapped the back end of his pen quietly against the paper as he leaned forward and looked back at Billy giving him his attention. He genuinely seemed to want to know if Billy was actually enjoying his time back in this hell hole.

Though at least it seemed to be more of a 'boring middle of nowhere America' hell hole than the actual hell hole it was for few years.
